Thanks to smashingmagazine (by the way one of my favourit daily blogs that I read) I found a pretty neat software called IOGraph that enlightened my day yesterday. It saves my mouse movements during a cerain period of time. as you can see in the screenshot above I hardly use the menue thanks to shortcuts and I hardly use my dock positioned on the left in the screen. Maybe you'd like to check out the software – it's a funny tool to use!

bwave grafik design, fotografie & marketing supports Flyers - our local basketball club. They have their most important match on February the 6th. I was asked to create a flyer for them. The flyer will hopefully spread the word among many citizens, since 15.000 flyers got printed by the end of last week. The news will be spread in a local newspaper with 10.000 flyer and 5.000 will be handed out during the week on schools, grocery stores and many more public places. I'd like to thank especially Häsele Baumarkt in Schwäbisch Hall for letting me lay open some flyer there as well.
It's been a really long time that I went to cinema to see a movie more than one time. And it's been a lot longer that I've been so excited about a movie like "Avatar" from James Cameroon. This movie is not just excellent – it is brilliant! Go and see the official movie site at avatarmovie.com. There are a lot of reviews of that movie already online so there is no need for me to write one of a thousands reviews. The movie is very well done and it does not matter if you see it in 3D or the regular screenplay.
In my hometown Schwäbisch Hall, there is a so called "wedding fair" each year in the same hotel around the same time in January.
I've been there last year and have been quite dissapointed because many of the companies offering their service to guests offer bad quality for a very high price. Especially photographers offer their service and taking pictures on one day costs 1.000 Euro (approx. 1.450 USD) plus their service of creating a "photo book", which is an other 1.000 Euro. Stunning that people pay for that - well, but a wedding here in Germany is supposed to be a one time event that will never come again and so most people invest a huge amount of money for THE event.
Guess I will be there this year as well. Just to have a look - see if something changes on it.
Something I am always excited about is typographic posters. In case you do a search on google you will find many more examples like the one you can see above from designer Craig Ward. One of my favorit typography websites is i love typography. It's worth to stop by and take a look sometimes.
After a while I decided to redesign my website a little bit. The old design was neat and suitable for what I've planned to acchieve. You can still find my old blog here. I will keep that up for some reasons but I will not continue writing on it. It will be online some time during January 2010.
Every new year people make resolutions to change aspects of themselves they believe are negative. A majority of people revert back to how they were before and feel like failures. This year I challenge you to a new resolution. I challenge you to just be yourself.
